Jimmy Palmiotti to Announce 3 New Series at SDCC

We’ve been lucky enough to have the wonderful Jimmy Palmiotti on Between the Panels before, and if you listened to that interview, you know that Mr. Palmiotti is no stranger to the comic industry.  On his Twitter account today, Palmiotti revealed that he’ll be announcing 3 new projects at July’s San Diego Comic Con.  I asked him if he was able to elaborate at all on what the series exactly were and he told me this:

One ongoing…and two mini series.

Earlier this week, Palmiotti had announced that he had gotten the green light on a new mini over at Marvel.  One of the two minis is indeed this new Marvel project.  As for the ongoing and the other mini, I have no earthly idea what they could be.  If I had to speculate, I’m guessing one will be a creator-owned book with the other being another project at DC. I’m also guessing that long time collaborators Amanda Conner and Justin Gray will be involved in these projects to some extent. Time will tell in just a few short weeks, but Jimmy Palmiotti fans, and fans of great comics, should be very excited to hear what’s coming our way.

What do you think? Sound off in our comments!
