It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen a DC Animated cartoon series that focused on a teen group of superheroes. Teen Titans ended four years and has been in syndication, but this fall will see the launch of a Young Justice cartoon series, and teen heroes will once again be in the spotlight. Since the announcement of the series, there have been a substantial amount of new details on what and who we’ll see in the show. Hit the jump for the full story!

For those unaware, Young Justice started in 1998 as a comic book series. The main team was made up of Robin, Superboy, and Impulse. The roster grew as the series progressed in popularity and issue count. However, the comic book series will only serve as inspiration for the new Cartoon Network series.

The Young Justice cartoon series takes place on Earth 16 and is comprised of six team members: Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, and Aqualad. Batman will guide the team and will be responsible for sending them out on missions.

Comic Book Resources has a ton of spoilers that you can go and check out here. I’m really excited for the show and I believe it will fit in well with the other superhero programming that Cartoon Network has.  Young Justice will premiere this November, but until then, you can check out some early photos from the show.
