On Wednesday, Christopher Nolan announced that on July 20, 2012 The Dark Knight Rises will fly into theaters. If you love the universe that Nolan has created for the Caped Crusader, you’ve probably been wondering which villain will taunt Christian Bale. While we don’t have any specific details, we can speculate on who might appear. Hit the jump for some of my thoughts on what we might see in the third installment of this Batman franchise.

I’ll admit, I was a little apprehensive at first about the casting of Chris Evans as Captain America, but as time has progressed, I’ve become more conformable with the idea. This morning, Entertainment Weekly released their new cover with Chris Evans as Captain America, and I can say that I’m no longer worried about the actor’s portrayal as the Sentinel of Liberty. Ladies and gentlemen, that is Steve Rogers, come to life. We’ve included it below:
