It’s back, after being pulled down yesterday MSN has a new higher resolution look at the cast of X-Men: First Class. Not to be outdone, The Los Angeles Times has three new pictures to accompany their set visit article (recommended) that includes our first look at Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw. The above image features the X-Men dressed in classic X-Men colors and shows (from left to right) Michael Fassbender (Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto), Rose Byrne (Dr. Moira MacTaggert), January Jones (Emma Frost), Jason Flemyng (Azazel), Nicholas Hoult (Hank McCoy / Beast), Lucas Till (Alex Summers / Havok), Zoë Kravitz (Angel Salvadore), Jennifer Lawrence (Raven Darkholme / Mystique) and James McAvoy (Professor Charles Xavier). Check out the new set pictures after the break.
Read MoreThe Dark Knight Rises Casting Confirmed
This morning Warner Bros. Pictures issued a press release confirming the casting of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Tom Hardy as the classic Batman villain Bane (who famously broke Batman’s back in the nineties). After months of endless speculation we now have something tangible to discuss. I wouldn’t claim to be a fan of Anne Hathaway or a fan of the character of Bane but I also doubted Heath Ledger as the Joker when the casting for The Dark Knight was announced so I’m willing to trust Christopher Nolan and wait and see. What about you? Does this new casting give you cause for rejoicing or rebuke? Sound off in the comments and check out the full press release after the break.

Summit Entertainment has hired Jon and Erich Hoeber to write a sequel to RED. The Hoebert brothers penned the original film staring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren as retired CIA agents (very) loosely based on the Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner comic of the same name. Though the film didn’t have the strongest opening weekend, RED was a surprise hit with audiences and has long been out of the red (pun intended sadly) but the crossing of the $90 million mark this weekend seems to be what prompted Summit to get the ball rolling on a sequel. The spokesman who confirmed the deal noted that a sequel to RED has yet to be greenlit and there are currently no deals in place with the original film’s stars for a sequel.
If a sequel to RED is greenlit, we are bound to see a few new (old?) faces added to the cast. Who would you like to see join the cast as retired special ops agents? Give your picks in the comments below!

Read MoreFirst Look: Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man
Sony Pictures just released the first official photo of Andrew Garfield in his brand new Spider-Man costume. Side by side comparisons with Tobey Maguire’s costume from the previous trilogy show a more intricate design, rubbery material, an inset logo and darker colors for Garfield’s Spider-Man. My first reaction while favorable, was that it looks as if Nike had designed a Spider-Man costume. As the released photo shows Garfield’s Peter Parker de-masked, I am quite curious to see the mask that goes with this new costume design. What are your thoughts on Garfield as Spider-Man and the new costume? Sound off in the comments below.
Director Marc Webb’s reboot of the franchise staring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Rhys Ifans hits theaters July third, 2012.
