So, I was doing my daily rummaging of the Internet and I came across a new X-Men: First Class trailer over at The Hollywood Reporter.  Let me preface my excitement over the new 2min 43sec piece of art by saying that from the announcement of this movie, I wasn’t too interested at all in the film.  In fact, even after watching the first trailer and whatever bit of footage and released images, I was not impressed.  But… and I say this with all honesty… I am officially on board with this movie!  I don’t know what they did during this trailer to make me drink the kool-aid, but I am all about this next installment.  I advise you head over to THR or wherever you can get your hands on this trailer (here) and enjoy!

20th Century Fox has released two new character posters from the upcoming release of X-Men: First Class. The posters feature James McAvoy as Charles and Michael Fassbender as Erik. Also, Empire has an exclusive photo which sees Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) and Emma Frost (January Jones) in a very blue room, presumably planning their next move.

X-Men: First Class is directed by Matthew Vaughn and is set for a June 3, 2011 release and continues to peak my interest with every new detail that’s released. We’ve placed all the images after the break.

The first official footage for X-Men: First Class is now online. X-Men: First Class is a prequel to the current X-Men trilogy, taking place before the falling out between Magneto and Professor Xavier. The film, directed by Matthew Vaughn, will hit theaters June 3rd and stars Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Jason Flemyng, Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till , Zoë Kravitz, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Kevin Bacon.
