Comics are amazing things and while it’s our job to talk about them, some panels are just too much for words. Those panels end up here to be presented without comment, question or explanation. Nuff said.

Lucy Punch Joins Powers, More Casting Due Soon

FX’s television adaptation of Powers has found one of its lead detectives. Dinner for Schmucks and Hot Fuzz actress Lucy Punch will play Deena Pilgrim, who is responsible for investigating crimes involving those with powers. Charles H. Eglee wrote the script which will be directed by Michael Dinner. Series creator Brian Michael Bendis will co-executive produce the show along with Dinner and Eglee.

For those that read the series, how do you feel about the casting? The movies I’ve seen Punch in are primarily comedies, so it’ll be interesting to see what she’ll bring to the role.

Bendis also stated on Twitter that this was just the first of several casting announcements. I hope we’ll see them sooner rather than later and I hope it’ll involve a certain famous TV coach. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
