While it’s hard to cover every single detail that occurs at San Diego Comic-Con, Dane has been in the thick of it, attending several of the DC Comics panels that occurred on Thursday. After the break we’ll have some new details about Flashpoint, Grant Morrison‘s run on Batman and Action Comics, and the first public reactions to the New 52.

Today, The Source blog revealed new details on the DCnU future of Superman. After the break, we’ve got plenty of details about what to except from Action Comics #1, written by Grant Morrison with art by Rags Morales and Superman #1, written by George Perez and drawn by Jesus Merino.

Dane and I picked the wrong week to take a vacation. All last week, DC announced the creative teams behind the 52  new titles for their retooled universe. While we didn’t cover all the titles, we did want to go through and list our top ten books that we’re most excited for. Hit the jump for the breakdown and see if we picked your favorite!

DC announced today that Grant Morrison’s Eisner Award Winning Series, All-Star Superman, will be the next comic to receive an animated adaptation. Superman will be voiced by James Denton, Lois Lane will be voiced by Christina Hendricks, and Lex Luthor by Anthony LaPaglia. Bruce Timm wills serve as executive producer and Dwayne McDuffie will write the script. The feature is scheduled to be released next spring.
