Earlier in the week, Warner Bros. released a new Green Lantern character poster spotlighting Geoffrey Rush‘s Tomar-Re. We’ve already seen the poster for Hal, so I would imagine one-sheets for the others aren’t too far behind.

Warner Bros. released a series of images today that show the fully animated and rendered CGI suit for Hal Jordan in Green Lantern. The full suit looks to keep a faithful, yet new interpretation of the tried and true version comic readers are familiar with. The mask looks better than previously seen and I like the fact the suit looks like a next-to-skin baselayer. We’ve included the images after the break for you to sound off on.

Due to the popularity of the footage shown at the WonderCon panel last night, Warner Bros. has released four minutes worth of footage for their upcoming release of Green Lantern. The original footage was around ten minutes, but this online footage has been shortened down. There’s plenty of things to get excited about in the trailer, including some much improved CGI. Look for Dane and I’s thoughts on it soon, but until then we’ve placed the footage after the break for those looking to avoid spoilers.

On the heels of their movie panel at WonderCon last night, Warner Bros. has released a new poster for Green Lantern focusing on Hal Jordan. The poster was released over the movie’s Facebook page and shows Ryan Reynolds fully suited up behind the beautiful landscape of the planet Oa. This image is one of many seen on the show floor at WonderCon and hopefully we’ll have more of those images by the time the weekend is over. Until then, enjoy the poster included below:

According to a report from the LA Times’ Hero Complex, Oscar, Tony and Emmy award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush is expected to be announced as the voice talent for Tomar-Re in Warner Bros’ upcoming release of Green Lantern. In the comics, Tomar-Re is the self-professed neighbor of Abin Sur, whose death provides Hal Jordan with his ring. Re is one of Hal’s earliest friends in the Green Lantern Corp and will help Ryan Reynolds‘ Jordan to get a handle on the powers of his ring.
