First Image of Henry Cavill as Superman

Warner Bros. has released the first official image of Henry Cavill as Superman in Zack Synder‘s Man of Steel. The photo offers our first look at Kal-El in a suit that we may have seen some place else. Cavill certainly looks the part, although I’d like to see a brighter lit image next time around for a better look at the full costume. We’ve included the full, hi-res image below.

Set to release on June 14, 2013, Man of Steel stars CavillAmy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe, Chris Meloni, Harry Lennix and Laurence Fishburne.  The film is produced by Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer, from a story by Goyer and Nolan

New Image Gives Insight Into DC’s Rebooted Justice League

Click for the full size image

This morning, DC Women Kicking Ass found the above image via the ‘Toon Tumblers Facebook page, showing a much better look at Geoff Johns and Jim Lee‘s rebooted Justice League. As previously seen, we have Aquaman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, The Flash, and Cyborg. However, as DCWKA points out, there are some interesting characters in the sides of the picture, including The Atom, Firestorm, Deadman, Mera, Green Arrow, and Hawkman. I don’t know the identity of the other two women, but I think this image gives a good idea as to the full and future roster of the new Justice League. Are you anymore excited for this team knowing the future of its roster than you were before? Sound off in our comments.
